The CHLOE Spring/Summer 2017 show, a collection in tune with the times and trends for a wardrobe of cool-chic Parisienne allure!
For her SS17 collection, Clare Waight Keller revisits street codes in the essence of French style.
Light and fluid, dresses are worn with finesse and romance. Sometimes pleated, sometimes embroidered and flowery, their transparence is understated.
Blouses and shirts are oversized, with extra long sleeves fastened at the shoulders with large knots.
Pants are sometimes pleated in balloon shapes, with high waists and fastened below the ankles. We notice marine-style inspirations in the buttoned pant panels, cord accents and necklines that fall on shoulders.
When no mini jewel bags are hanging from wrists, models walked with hands in pockets in casual bourgeois attitudes.
The desiger has favored classic French colors this season – navy, beige, khaki and timeless black and white, to which 1970’s wallpaper prints are added in a palette of powder blues and browns.
In brief, the natural elegance and boyishness of French style is made effortless at Chloe, with romantic details unique to the brand.
We loved.
