UNUM is the perfume brand by Italian designer Filippo Sorcinelli. After studying visual arts in Fano and sacred music in Rome, he worked with many contemporary artists and participated in international exhibitions. In 2001, he created the "LAVS" workshop, which produces liturgical vestments and objects for Catholic worship. He has also made the robes of the last two popes, Benedict XVI and Francis. At the same time, he founded his own perfume house. His first scent, "LAVS", was inspired by the scented oils used to perfume the vestments for the Chrism Mass. Each new fragrance in the collection will be inspired by the incense and wood scented world of Italian churches. Sorcinelli says UNUM is a perfume brand "characterised by a steadfast soul, whose foundations are rooted in mystical thinking that goes beyond religion".
