The flagship piece of the collection is the Converse All Star Chuck Taylor sneaker, a collaboration that started in 2009.

Launched in 2003, Comme des Garçons Play is the second line, or "diffusion line" of the Comme des Garçons label created in 1973 by Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo.

Play is a line of urban and unisex garments, inspired by classics of men's and women's dressing.

Flashback on “Comme Des Garçons” history…

The brand “Comme Des Garçons” was founded in 1943 by the Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo. Launched in a stylist career from the age of 25 years, she begins to draw her own pieces and undertakes an impressive career. In the 80’s, the designer revolutionised fashion disrupting the codes and was considered as the priestess of the anti-fashion movement. Destroyed clothes, visible seams, asymmetric and oversized cuts… Rei Kawakubo goes against the trend towards. For the Spring-Summer 1983 collection, the designer was inspired by the homeless outfits. The press talked about the ‘New wave of beauty’.
