COMME DES GARÇONS HOMME X NEW BALANCE
- THE MR860 IS BACK
For a new season, the Japanese label COMME des GARÇONS HOMME joins forces with sportswear pioneer New Balance. Year after year, this collaboration between the two entities never stops. Presented at the last Fashion Week and in parallel to the collaboration with Nike, they are tackling a new model not yet revisited. The latter is a must-have of streetwear looks of the moment.

The first images of COMME DES GARÇONS HOMME X NEW BALANCE highlights the silhouette of the model MR860 from the american brand. COMME des GARÇONS brings its DNA to this simple-looking shoe. We find a branding more striking than on previous projects: the sober colors, details on the tongue... Nothing is left apart. As on the other models that the brands has worked on, the New Balance MR860 is available in two colors. We find a pair in the shades of mouse gray and a monochrome black version. The upper of the shoe consists of mesh, suede and reinforced leather pieces, combined with the classic laces of the american label. A great way to attract the minimalist looking for more timeless pieces.
Even if there has been a detailed work on aesthetics, comfort is not less left out. The MR860 is supported by a “N-ergy” sole that absorbs shocks by combining cushioning and compression resistance. All these technical points are derived from the ABZORB technology developed by New Balance.
